San Mateo High School hosted its 10th annual Bearcat invitational on a beautiful and warm Saturday at SMHS with over 30 schools participating.  Bearcats shined in various events throughout the day especially Frosh Soph girls and boys. Jeffries through to CCS Finals in 300 Hurdles

Senior Jake Jeffries took 5th at the CCS sectional qualifying meet in the 300M hurdles on Saturday at Gilroy HS.  That result was good enough to put him the finals this Friday night for qualifying for the CIF State meet.  The lady Bearcats had several great results Saturday but not quite good enough to move on to the finals.
