Emma finished 6th in the 100 Backstroke at the CIF State Swim Meet on Saturday, May 11th, while swimming in the Finals A heat with a time of  :55.30.  She was able to make it to the awards podium and she received a medal.  Emma also earned an All-American consideration time at Trials with a time of

CIF Swim Update–Emma Lepisova

Emma Lepisova was seeded 24 in the 200 IM (Individual Medley) as she entered the CIF Swim Trials on Friday, May 10th.  After her swim, she moved up 5 spots and finished at Trials in the 19th spot just shy of making a finals appearance.  Emma was seeded 15th in the 100 Backstroke and will swim in the CIF  Finals

Swim & Dive Team – CCS Update

A team of 10 swimmers and divers attended the CCS Trials & Finals at the International Swim Center in Santa Clara on Friday, May 3 & Saturday, May 4. For the first time San Mateo had a dive team member qualify and participate in CCS.  Kate Shanberge earned a spot to the CCS Dive Meet and

PAL Swim Review; PAL Champion – Girls Swim

The girls swim team had a couple of great days at the pool for the league championships. In the individual races each of the girls dropped time in their events.  The time drops were from .01 seconds to up to 5 seconds, which is amazing in swimming.  Some of the relays dropped time by 8 seconds. 

Swimmer Emma Lepisova breaks school record

Senior swimmer, Emma Lepisova broke the school record in the 200 Individual Medley at the PAL Swim Trials on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, with a time of 2:05.99.  The previous record, 2:06.19 was set by Emma in 2018.  Congrats Emma!
