Nicole Chang, SMHS Class of 2018, is a current student athlete at Biola University, located in La Morida, California. This past season as a Biola Eagle, Nicole recorded personal best times in the following events: 100 Butterfly, 100 Breastroke, 100 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle and 200 Breastroke. A Biola team highlight for this season, “We beat Azusa for the first time in a very very long time. And we beat them by 1 point at conference to finish 3rd place at our conference championships, when we had finished 8th place last year.”
Last season Nicole broke two Biola School records in the 100 Backstroke and the 200 Backstroke and was nominated for the Female Newcomer of the Year, by the Biola Athletic Department.
Nicole is currently on the record board at San Mateo. She holds the record in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:48.60 (with Emma Lepisova, Lera Nasedkina and Cecilia Quan-swim cap photo), Nicole swam the Butterfly portion of the relay.
Nicole had a swim meet the last two years for Biola at Mills College in Oakland. Her high school coach, Kathy Parodi, and her high school and club coach, Rich Farley were able to attend those meets the last two years.
