Game Recap

Another great win by the JV squad, as they continue to extend their winning streak to 3 games. This win was their most complete game of the season, with all parts of the team contributing to the victory. The Bearcats passing attack was key to the game, led by QB Luke Bergstrom who threw for two touchdowns to Lucas Castillo and Luke Fanguna. With the rushing attack of Lucas Castillo and Omar Maithaluni controlling the clock and the passing game attacking downfield, the offense is really starting to gel at the half way point of the season. The defense once again played another dominant game, controlling the line of scrimmage with multiple QB pressures and sacks. The game was sealed when the Bearcats defense scored on fumble recovery. With the victory San Mateo moves to 2-0 in Division play and looks to extend their winning streak to 4 games next week against Capucchino. Go Bearcats!
