Season in Review: 1. Girls Varsity Swimming

The Varsity Girls Swim Team went 5-1-1 this season. The team had PAL (Bay Division) Champions in 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke and 100 Breastroke. Many individual swimmers broke long time school records. The girls came in 2nd place in the PAL Bay Division. Senior Larisa Tam tied for the, Swimmer of the Meet, which is equivalent to an MVP award. Three girls are on the 1st Team All League and two on the 2nd Team All League teams.  

The team had 2 relays qualify for CCS (200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay).  Both relays swam in the trials and finals.

Larisa Tam broke the PAL 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:03.85

The Medley Relay finishing 11th at CCS and earning a spot to swim at the state swim meet, while breaking a 25 year old school record.

The Freestyle Relay finishing 8th at CCS and earning a spot to swim at the state swim meet, while breaking a 1 year old school record, by over 2 seconds.

At CCS Finals Emma Lepisova broke a 24 year old school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.53, and earned a spot at the state swim meet.
