The Bearcats Track & Field squads overpowered an undermanned Oceana High School team today in what amounted to a good practice meet for the upcoming PAL Championships in May. But before that, all four Bearcat squads will travel next week to their final dual meet of the season at El Camino on Thursday, and then an invitational meet at Mills on Saturday the 29th. The Mills Invitational will be a hard test for the Bearcats as two of the eleven teams entered include PAL powerhouse Menlo-Atherton and a strong Aragon team.

With a limited number of athletes competing, Oceana combined its Frosh-Soph team with its Varsity to compete against the SMHS Varsity. The Bearcats still easily prevailed in both the men’s and women’s competition while the Frosh-Soph Bearcats participated unopposed, using the meet to work on their individual events.
